Description
This image is a composite of multiple gel plate monoprints of my hands. Using a variety of resist techniques to establish the hand prints into the final image. With the lighter tone/colours of the hands I used a transparent oil pastel, so when I scraped away the excess layer of paint on top of the oil pastel, because it was transparent it reveals the paper, or an earlier print layer.
