Description
Painted as part of a triptych, from a local landscape to me in Shropshire. The village of Nesscliffe has a wonderful backdrop of a large rock cliff face, known locally as “Nesscliffe Rock” When you ascend up to the plateau on top of the cliff face, a huge panorama of the Shropshire planes/flats opens up to you. Seen through some interesting foliage. When i decided to start my “Local Landscapes” project in 2021, this site was right up on the list of scenes I wanted to paint.
Painted in ink, on watercolour paper
