Description

This painting was part of an experimental process to see how smaller stages of a much larger project looked as completed paintings, in their own right. Derived from five out of the twenty five paintings that will be used in the final image of the larger project. Seen here is a combination of the central vertical column, and two adjacent portraits, of a five tier project these portraits are derived from. It is made up of seven different studies from the sitter,  looking level with the sitter. This painting was the original of six paintings experiment with different aspects of the larger project and the portraits contained within that larger project.
