Description
This image was created as part of the first Panotrait designed specific series, back in 2018. The murky blue background was something of a revelation when I created, in that I learnt to use darker tones/hues for the background in order to bring the foreground image forward. Which sounds obvious, but at the time all of this was very experimental, and most of my learning was done almost exclusively by trial and error.
It is the murky tones of the background in this image that give rise to its title, with a twist on Max Planck’s name. Alluding to the quantum state, or superposition of the portrait in the image.
